Colin Callahan (they/he) is a passionate, goal-driven artist who recently graduated with a BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Born and raised in Chicago, Colin's creative journey began at age four, performing in their kitchen with a blanket on their head, channeling Britney Spears. This early passion for storytelling has grown into a dynamic career spanning theatre, film, and arts education.
Recent theatre credits include Not About Nightingales (directed by Eddie Torres), Trial in the Delta (co-directed by Anthony Mosley & Dana Anderson), and The Aliens (directed by Richard Corley). On screen, Colin has brought compelling performances to All That Glitters (Triad Pictures) and *Talking S#t (Second City Film School). In addition to their formal training at UIC, Colin has honed their craft through classes at the Actors Studio Chicago and as a graduate of the Conservatory Program at the Second City Training Center. Their commitment to the arts extends to education, as they work as a teaching artist with Chicago Children's Theatre, inspiring the next generation of creatives. When not on stage, on set, or in the classroom, Colin finds joy in long-distance running through Chicago, hammocking by the lakeshore, or savoring an iced matcha latte with vanilla at a local coffee shop—book in hand, of course.
